The World Congress in Jeju was an incredible experience. The program was well balanced, with Bible teachings, plenary sessions on relevant issues (that always came back to the heart of Jesus), breakout discussions that explored topics in greater depth, and plenty of opportunities for fellowship. It really moved me seeing people from over 120 nations gathered together to worship one Name. It was so encouraging to witness so many Christian health professionals faithfully serving the Lord and making a meaningful impact in their own countries.A strong emphasis throughout the Congress was on missions. During one breakout session, a speaker said, “Calling is a journey to where God is calling or keeping you.” These words were deeply impactful. My mindset has often been, “Lord send me,” but this challenged me to recognise that God has intentionally placed each of us where we are today, that our current workplaces, communities, and relationships are also our mission field.

I am also grateful for the fellowship and friendships that were formed throughout the week. Whether it was meeting 5 new faces from 5 different countries each day, praying for one another, dancing and celebrating different cultures, sneaking out for a caffeine fix during a plenary and somehow ending up in a three-hour conversation, or worshipping and praising the Lord, every moment was such a blessing.

I cannot recommend the World Congress highly enough. If you have the opportunity to attend the next one, I genuinely encourage you to go. It will deepen your faith, drive meaningful reflections, and leave you challenged and encouraged to further His Kingdom.
